Before anyone panics, Chris Hemsworth will reprise his role as Thor in the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War. Despite the fact that production will begin in a few weeks, Marvel is keeping its big actors in the dark. MTV‘s reporter Josh Horowitz was able to talk to the Australian star while he walked the red carpet at the recent Golden Globes Award Show. And apparently, he doesn’t know jack.
When asked if he’s read the script for the upcoming Avengers film, Hemsworth said:
“No. [It’s] a little nerve-racking a couple weeks out, isn’t it? But this is the way Marvel does it.” – Chris Hemsworth
Marvel is very secretive about what they do. Several actors have teased that upon being welcomed into the MCU that they were then instructed not to reveal anything. So, with Avengers: Infinity War presumably being the biggest in the series, Marvel wants to be sure it all remains a mystery to others.
While we would have loved to hear Hemsworth’s thoughts on his upcoming project, we do have Thor: Ragnarok to look forward to. That will be released November 3, 2017.
