The folks at Entertainment Weekly are back with their exclusive Marvel content, awful photoshop lighting and hilarious headline choices. Thor: Ragnarok is the centerpiece of their upcoming March issue and it is filled with so much end-of-the-world goodness like Rupert Grint adulting in a new TV show. Check out their cover.
In case you didn’t recognize her, that is indeed Cate Blanchett as Hela rocking the brunette look and that Jack Kirby-inspired outfit. Beside her is some goober we can’t seem to recognize. Has a weird haircut but has cool looking swords and a cyan shoulder pad going on for him. Next to him is the coolest part of this image; our first official look at the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Valkyrie, played by the amazing Tessa Thompson. We can feel her badassery already just by looking at her costume. Another thing I’d like to point out is how colorful this image looks. From the neon green highlights of Hela’s costume to the chilling aqua blue blades of the Odinson, Thor: Ragnarok just might fulfill its promise of being inspired by crazy 80s colors and visuals.
The Entertainment Weekly issue also includes several new details about the film which we’ll cover in another article coming so stay tuned. What do you think of the cover? Let us know in the comments below!
